What Is Mastopexy?
It is a surgery which aims to lift the nipple that is fallen and the breast that is fallen. This surgery consists of removing fat, breast paranchyme and skin. It allows you to have higher, smaller, round, symmetrical and firmer breasts. The size of the areola may be reduced.
What Is Breast Ptosis?

- You will not be able to exercise for 1 month.

What Scars Does Mastopexy Leave?
- Periareolar scar: it is the one that is around the areola, it is used in breasts that require lifting of the breasts.
- Vertical circumareolar scar: it is the one that remains around the areola up to the groove. It is used in larger breasts in which it is required to remove lower breast tissue to make it more symmetrical.
- Intertidated T: it is used in very fallen and large breasts, which require large volume resections in the medial and lateral part of the breast.
HOSPITALIZATION OF THE MASTOPEXY
Some patients require 24 hours of hospitalization. They are discharged the next day.
